Haiti Mission Trip Update - Jan 26
Thursday was, for this trip, a typical day. The mobile
medical team saw 311 patients in their final day. I know Sandy was
quite busy acting as a pharmacist. Amanda and Andrew helped finish
the nursery in the morning and in the afternoon Amanda went to
Simonet while Andrew helped reconfigure and relocate the wireless
internet repeaters. Those working here at the mission finished our
projects and worked into the evening. Andy also looked at a
pedestrian bridge project for MOH. Tomorrow we will visit an
orphanage and go to the beach. I think everyone is tired, but in a
good way. For a small group, we feel God has blessed us with
diversity; we have not shied away from any tasks and we feel like
we have been well used. We have talked often about how God arranged
all the parts of this week long before we were born and the results
are just amazing! We do serve a great God. I (Andy) am very proud
of the team and grateful they are so easy to lead.
