Dear Church,

There is a blessing tucked away in Jude 1:24: it says “To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.”

What a powerful reminder for us today! We serve a God who is able to keep us from falling, able to strengthen us when we are weak, able to finish the work He started in us.

Yes, we still wrestle with the flesh. Yes, temptations are real. But too often we excuse our stumbles by simply blaming our human nature: “I’m only human…” “It’s just my flesh…”

Friend, the Word reminds us, we are not slaves to the flesh anymore. We have to stop blaming the flesh as an excuse to live a self-pleasing life.  We have the Spirit of the Living God inside of us, and He is able to keep us standing. Stop settling for constant defeat. Stop believing the lie that you have no choice but to fall.

Start leaning on the strength of the One who never fails. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you today! Victory is not about how strong you and I are.

It’s about how strong He is and He is more than enough. So, today walk with confidence.
Walk with boldness.

You are being kept, upheld, and carried by a faithful God who delights to present you not with shame, but with joy. What an assurance! Alleluia!

Be encouraged,
Mathews
